The Tulane University Psychology Clinic for Children and Adolescents is a university-based psychological clinic providing families in the greater New Orleans and surrounding areas with affordable, evidence-based mental health services. The Clinic serves as a training site for the APA-Accredited School Psychology Doctoral Program at Tulane University and is staffed by graduate students under the supervision of licensed psychologists. Through their training in the Clinic, students gain experience in evidence-based assessment and treatment in child and adolescent mental health.
Mission of the Clinic
The mission of the Tulane University Psychology Clinic for Children and Adolescents is threefold:
- To provide low-cost services for underresourced populations.
The clinic utilizes an income-adjusted sliding fees scale.
- To serve as a clinical training site for graduate students in the School Psychology Doctoral Program at Tulane University.
- To conduct basic and applied research relevant to child and adolescent mental health.
